The first Startup competition of the GS1 International members will be held on April 27-30, 2019 at the International Conferences hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting by the National Center of Product and Services Coding of Iran, known as GS1 Iran, and the Iranian E-Commerce Scientific Association.

Teams participating in this startup competition would present their new ideas on GS1 standards in supply chain management, based on the infrastructure of products and services coding, in three areas of Blockchain, Internet of Things and E-commerce, and to compete with each other.The goal of this competition is to use GS1 standards and solutions in supply chain information management and to get them implemented by the attentive students and entrepreneurs in this field. Another goal of this event is to create jobs and confront youth with different sectors of the industry through use of world’s latest technologies.
